~ Information for young people ~
The Albury Project is a way for schools and services to work together differently to provide opportunities and support to students. This means that every year, all students in participating schools (Albury, James Fallon and Murray High Schools) will complete a survey called the Australian Index of Adolescent Development. The results of the survey help The Albury Project staff to understand who might benefit from working with The Albury Project.
The Albury Project is led by Yes Unlimited, the organisation who run The Hive. The team from The Hive will be doing more work in schools, with individual students and also groups of students. Other organisations that might be working in your school include headspace. If you’re working with The Albury Project, your family might also be included. But of course, that’s up to you and your family to decide. The Albury Project is a really positive and exciting thing for young people – but it’s not compulsory to be involved. Your family can decide to opt you out of completing the survey, and you can also decide at any time that you don’t want to participate. You won’t get in trouble for making that decision.
