Betty's Place Women's Refuge

About Betty’s Place Women’s Refuge

Betty’s Place is located in Albury and provides accommodation and outreach support for women and their children who are homeless, at risk of homelessness, or escaping family and domestic violence. Bettys Place is able to accommodate up to 6 women and their children.

We have a specialist focus on domestic and family violence, and can assist you in navigating services, linking up with legal advice and developing a plan to make sure you and your family are safe.

Case Management

Women and children accessing our accommodation services partner with a case manager who will:

  • Talk to you about your situation
  • Develop a plan to keep you safe
  • Work with you to develop some goals for the future, and support you in achieving these goals.

Yes Unlimited also offers outreach support to women and children who are not staying at Betty’s Place.

If there is a vacancy, and you are unsure about staying at Betty’s Place please call us to arrange a tour with one of our staff. We work hard to make sure our accommodation services are a ‘homelike’ environment and would encourage you to have a chat with our staff if you’re feeling uncertain about using the service.
