If you’re having issues with accommodation, housing or homelessness in Albury, Yes Unlimited can make finding the right support easy for you.

Our Centralised Intake team can support you with:

  • Accessing local crisis accommodation such as Broughton House and Betty’s Place
  • Advice, information, and practical assistance
  • Rent arrears assistance
  • Short term support to get you going in the right direction
  • Case management and planning to work through your situation
  • Connecting you to the right services

  • 1800 RESPECT – 1800 737 732 for the national domestic, family and sexual violence counselling, information and support service.

Domestic and family violence (DFV) can happen to anyone, in any relationship and can have significant short- and long-term impacts.

DFV is not always physical. It can also be:

  • Frequent unwanted contact
  • Being coerced into staying in a relationship
  • Constant put downs
  • Stalking or harassment
  • Someone controlling who you see, what you do, or how you spend your money.

Any behaviour from a partner or family member that makes you feal scared or impacts your feeling of safety could mean you are experiencing DFV.

Our Domestic and Family Violence team works closely with a number of local services and can provide support with:

  • Identifying if what you are experiencing is domestic and family violence
  • Developing a safety plan to keep you and your children safe
  • Accessing crisis accommodation such as Betty’s Place
  • Practical and financial assistance
  • Assistance to secure and remain safe in your own home through our Staying Home Leaving Violence program
  • Connecting you to the right services such as Court Support, police, counselling, legal advice or Victims Services NSW
  • Someone to talk to, without judgement, while you navigate your recovery from DFV

At Yes Unlimited we believe that young people are our community’s greatest asset and that with the right supports and opportunities, all young people can thrive.

We have a range of services for young people of different ages from 12 – 25. Some focus on supporting you when life gets challenging, and others are just about having fun, getting connected with your community or tapping into your talents.

So, if you’re having trouble at school or home, want to feel more connected, would like to learn some new skills, talk to one of our youth workers or have some fun, here are some things we have on offer:

  • Case management and planning to work through your situation
  • Brief family counselling and brief one to one counselling
  • Accessing local crisis accommodation such as Broughton House
  • The Hive Youth Resource Centre: Our youth centre located in Lavington gives young people Somewhere to go, Something to do, Someone to talk to.
  • Recreation/School Holiday Program: We have a range of fun things happening throughout the year and are always open to hearing your ideas. Think laser tag, movie nights, bushwalks, music events, jewellery making or just hanging out with other young people.
  • Group Work
  • Change Makers: A group of passionate young people who meet regularly to make a difference in our community.
  • Mentoring
  • Someone to talk to
